The group of Bandierai degli Uffizi traveling to France in the tourist town of Villeneuve-Loubet for the Renaissance Festival, now in its twelfth edition.
On the anniversary of the five hundredth anniversary of the death of maestro Leonardo da Vinci, the association “François Ier à Villeneuve Loubet” hosted our team from August 1st to 3rd to have an all-Italian show of Italian tradition and folklore.
Inside the Renaissance frame of the ancient village, the lily flags and the pressing drums, have honored the great procession for the king Francesco I, entertaining with many daily shows the many visitors and tourists who crowd the charming town overlooking the sea of Villeneuve Loubet.
The Bandierai degli Uffizi have had the pleasure of visiting the birthplace-museum of the famous chef Auguste Escoffier, father of over 5000 recipes and peach melba, the famous ice cream.
